1951 Chrysler Windsor Deluxe Coupe with 250CI inline 6-cylinder engine and Hydro-Matic manual transmission with column shifter. When I acquired this car, it was verified to be almost 100% factory original and believed to have the original tires and first oil/fuel/air filers. To bring this car back to life all that was done was flush and clean the fuel system, replace brakes, bearings, filters, cooling fluid and new reproduction tires. It now starts right up and feels like your floating down the street sitting on a sofa! The paint you see on this car looks a bit like a repaint in someone’s garage but that’s actually how it left the plant. It is slightly event that the front left fender was repainted and may have had a repair. In 1951 the lower cost point cars such as this did not receive the best showroom paint jobs. All the chrome is original, just polished. All the interior including the cloth arm rests are original with no wear just some moisture staining. This vehicle also came with all the sales brochures and original paperwork. The engine compartment is just like the day it rolled of the assembly line. In the trunk. You’ll find the original trunk mat, spare tire and jack! There is nothing I’d change about this car! It will remain a time capsule and with only 48,200 miles possibly the world most original and lowest mileage Windsor.
