1969 Plymouth "Mr. Norm" Cuda Fastback

Mr. Norm 440 6 Pack

Real 1969 383 ‘Cuda!

440V8 6BBL (6-PACK)               1 of <50 Mr. Norm ‘Cuda Conversions Made

  • Original factory rare 1 of 248 made “H” code E63 383 Big Block cars
  • This one is one of less than 50 possible less then 10 still in existence, original Mr. Norm’s converted 440/6BBL and Dyno-Tuned cars. Not a factory 440 ‘Cuda but a more potent Mr. Norm performer.
  • The big block ‘Cuda has the dual hood scoops and rally stripes only available on the big blocks. Most were ordered to race and many do not exist anymore.
  • This is not one of Mr. Norm’s Rare M code GSS 440 Dodge Darts as his dealership only sold New Dodges but it is an original Mr. Norm’s service converted Cuda that would have brought in by the owner to get the same conversion and dyno tune that the M Dart’s received.
  • Only 23,000 miles and evidence of patched fender cutouts for headers, the expensive Mr. Norm conversion and tuning is evidence this car was purchased and intended to race!

“Norm Kraus showed the boys at Chrysler engineering that it was possible to stuff a 440 Super Commando motor into the economy minded Dart in 1968 with the help of Hurst/Campbell. By 1969 Chrysler took these conversions in-house to benefit both the Dodge and Plymouth lines. So, the ‘Cuda 440 Special super-performance package was born. This is also the first time the now legendary ‘Cuda name was ever used on a vehicle.”
