The LTD was Ford’s top of the line and was pricey. A convertible with these options and the 429 engine probably made this one of the most expensive and lowest production in the Ford 1971 line. The LTD was used in many movies including White Lighting with Burt Reynolds, French Connection and in Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry movies.
